MC2 Saint Barth; The It-Brand for Euro Summer

If you’ve been shopping in Greece or Italy, chances are you know about MC2 Saint Barth. Saint Barth is an Italian luxury swimwear brand founded in 1994. MC2 is an extremely popular brand in Europe; however, not too many Americans know about it yet.

My first encounter with MC2 was in 2022, I was shopping in a Greek department store called “Attica” . I had spotted the candy-colored section from across the store and immediately rushed over. From that point on, I have been hooked.

From swimsuits to beach bags to towels, MC2 has it all and all of their pieces have a very European vacation feel to them.

There are many variations of the same type of bag above; with different colors, prints, and sizes. They are perfect as a beach or everyday bag.

They also have smaller pouches with the same design that are perfect for makeup & toiletries!

Going through their VERY wide collection of bags, the woven & crochet totes stick out to me the most. The woven totes also are good alternates to Prada’s woven beach tote. Unlike the Prada totes, MC2’s totes come in a variety of designs; with summer motifs like stitched strawberries and flowers.

The crochet totes are a perfect addition to any summer wardrobe, as mentioned in my summer trend forecast, crochet is very hot this summer.

MC2 also isn’t shy to collaborate with other brands. They have collections with a host of well-known brands, such as Levis and Fiorucci.

In their line with Levi’s, there are a host of upcycled Levi’s 501 denim shorts; with various colors and styles. The shorts are perfect as a casual beach cover up, and can also be worn with any outfit. 

My favorite MC2 collab (by far) is their line with Fiorucci. The collab features the signature Fiorucci angels adorned with sunglasses; giving the classic logo a touch of MC2. The color scheme is baby blue, pastel pink, and white; perfect for the summer.

I'm not usually a fan of one-pieces but this one is so cute!

MC2 has a very wide array of swimsuits, with hundreds of patterns ranging from their signature bandana print to gingham. They also have a new collection of terrycloth bikinis.

The beaded detail on this hot pink terrycloth bikini is the perfect touch.

The leopard print with a subtle bandana print overlay is a unique take on the leopard print trend of this summer!
